Amorgos, “the island of deep blue”, is located southeast of the Cyclades. The name is supposed came from the plant “Amorgion”, a type of flax which was made the amorgides carmine tunics, product of excellent quality and technique. Amorgos has two harbors, Katapola and Aigiali where our rooms are located, just 150 meters from the beach, the largest sandy beach of the island. In Amorgos you can visit the three traditional picturesque Cycladic villages Tholaria, Lagadia anad Potamos with plenty of dining options in small taverns with excellent traditional dishes.
